Coming down to the wire...

Sorry I've been gone for a while... been busy with a new job.

I'm one week out from surgery. One week from now, I'll be in my hospital bed wondering what I got myself into :)

The first week of the liquid diet has gone pretty well. Haven't cheated yet and I've lost about 9 lbs! Hopefully I can steer clear of temptation and not get too sick of Soup. Hopefully the stuff I'm eating will shrink my liver down to make my surgeon happy.

So much for a constructed post... I'm hungry dammit. I know good lies ahead.

Just wanted to ramble on a bit.

I'm almost a week out as well and I wasn't really hungry until I see all the commercials and billboards talking about food lol. But hang in there and Congrats to what you have already accomplished so far!

I was fine until I tuned into South Park the other night and saw commercials for a certain mexican fast food place that used to be a guilty pleasure. I had to go drink a bunch of water! Good luck to you as well!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
