you need to get in at least 64 oz Water a day. I have some of the same problems with drinking throughout the day that you do, so I make sure I start the day with 32 oz. of fluids (early, early morning) and then try for 20 oz. in the afternoon and 16 oz or so in the evening. It is not a perfect system by any means, but getting the 32 oz. in first thing in the morning really helps me from getting behind for the day. Nothing worse than getting home late in the day and realize that I have had only 20 oz fluids lol. Fluids are key to both body function and weight loss.

Oh, realized that I am much farther out than you are - so I can drink a lot faster - but I started this routine pretty early out - and eat 5 times a day, so it is possible. It just takes a lot of planning for the day. Also, my NUT had me move to 800 calories around month 4, 1000 at month 6 and 1200 at month 8 - that is where I am at now. She wants me to move to 1600 calories for maintenance - which for me will start soon.

Thank you all for such a quick response. I do have a chart to keep measurements but I have to admit I have missed a week or 2 . Not staying consistent is one of my struggles that lead me here. the clothes are fitting better and when I do measure inches are definitely dropping. I have recently added flaxseed to my yogurt daily . But the lack of bm's got pretty bad 2 weeks ago and it was literally impacted.(sorry tmi).. The few times I jumped on the scale at the gym I was still at 195ish... been that weight since week 3. I get about 32-40 oz of Water a day eat plenty of Protein but have little to no fiber in my diet.

You definitely need much more water, especially if you are exercising and constipated. 64 oz should be a bare minimum.

Does anyone keep Water by their bed at night and drink if/when they wake up during the night? I wake up often, so I was thinking why not drink during the night too(?)

No. That would wake me up even more to go to the bathroom. My surgeon says no liquids an hour before bedtime to minimize interruption to sleep. I always get up at least one time though.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
