***OCTOBER 2015 SLEEVERS*** (9 Months Post Op)

Recommended Posts

Hey October Sleevers!!!

How is everything going? Just wanted to check in with everyone and see how the weight loss is going, How close are we to goal? Are we still motivated? Do we need some motivation? Is your stomach still talking out loud? LOL! Lets have an update!!

Here are my stats:

Starting weight/size: 264/ size 18/(1X&2X)

Surgery weight: 255

One Month: 242

Three Month: 226

I am 203 lbs now and a size 12/14. My first goal weight is to lose another 23 lbs and then to evaluate were I want to be 10 lbs at a time. I did have a nice little stall for about a month and a half but when it broke I dropped 5 lbs which made me VERY happy! Losing this last little bit is proving to be very challenging but I am trying to stay consistent with going to the gym 4-5 a week doing weights 3 days a week. I can eat whatever I want without any problems though sugar makes my stomach make LOUD noises still!

Let us know whats going on!

Hi!

My highest weight was 278 lbs. Surgery Oct 19th at 258lbs.

Current weight 142.

I haven't been as focused and I have started eating 'bad' carbs again. Haven't lost much in last month.

Need some refocusing. I think I'm experiencing dieting fatigue. I just have this desire to eat 'normally' and to 'treat' myself.

Anyone else experiencing this? All of a sudden. It's so weird. I'm working out regularly though and am wearing a size 8 so that makes me happy. I still have another 20-25 to lose!!! It doesn't seem to budge. But of course I'm co spiders my less strict with myself as I was.

I too was sleeved 10/29/15

Start weight 325

Current weight 248

I too like most are stalled and not eating as well as I should my goal weight is right around 200 just can't kick my eating habits right now still pretty restrictive but I tolerate just about everything so I eat kinda what I want just small portions obviously. Snacking I think is my major problem at the moment and finding time to workout which haven't in 4 months. Think I just need to know I'm not alone and vent. Hope everyone has kick started up again looks like last post was over a month ago.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
