I feel great, got my confidence back. However I'm scared to go back to my old habits. I haven't been good with my diet lately due to so much events, but I'm back in the gym and drinking my Protein. I would love to see pictures and any tips and advice! Thanks !post-295832-14678161011714_thumb.jpg post-295832-1467816117071_thumb.jpg

@@kari91 i feel like it's impossible to go back to my old habits. i cannot eat carbs comfortably and that was always my weakness so keeping it Keto is super easy for me. i haven't even worked out in a month and i've lost like 4lbs becuz my diet is still good. now do i need to work out? yes. i need to get my ass moving but diet is 80%! you can do it! :)

Hi. I was sleeved Nov 2015. I've lost exactly 80 lbs (90 lbs from my highest). I have been holding steady at 176 lbs for quite some time now. I am 5'4". I am in a size 10 pants and medium top (previously I was a size 22 pants and a size 2x top-tight).

And BTW, you look awesome. Great job!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
