What's your favourite...

Ok b*tches...

As the newly, self-appointed Minister for Getting Sh*t Going, I've decided to run a weekly topic entitled "What's your favourite..."

Each week, I'll post a new subject. All you have to do is reply with your favourite of that particular thing...

It could be something 'normal' like song/movie/book...

It could be something a little more controversial like...

Well, let's just see what I/we can get away with without causing a mass banning...

Anyway, feel free to comment...

At the same time, feel free to pass over the thread if you're just gonna be a d*ck and screw things up...

You're not obligated to post/reply/like/read any of this...

So, for this week, we'll start with an easy one...

What's your favourite....

SONG LYRIC

A line...
A verse..

A chorus...

A whole song...

It matters not...

Share it with the recovering-fatty world...

Not your favourite song!!

But your favourite line(s) from a song...

Have at it b*tches!!!

***EDIT - When quoting your lyrics, please put the song title and artist as well. I'm always looking for new music to listen to and will be Spotifying the sh*t outta any songs I'm not familiar with...

Thanx...

He was a hard-headed man he was brutally handsome And she was terminally pretty She held him up and he held her for ransom In the heart of the cold, cold city He had a nasty reputation as a cruel dude

  • I took my love and I took it down Climbed a mountain and I turned around And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills Till the landslide brought me down Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?

And in case you're wondering - YES. I will be making judgement on you thru your lyrical choices... But you knew that...

Feeling and smelling pretty is priceless!

Oh, and super high thread count cotton sheets. :)

Ooh Ooh Ooh! Been off BP for two weeks and AGAIN I missed good stuff!

I have to catch up-

Favorite song lyrics," We spotted the ocean, at the head of the trail, Where are we going, so far away? Somebody told me that this is the place, where everything's better, and everything's safe"

Toad the Wet Sprocket, Walk on the Ocean. Those lines have applied to so many passages in my life...including this journey.

I suck at jokes, not even going to make a stab at one.

Guilty Pleasure- taking a mid day nap in bed with the fan overhead whirling and no one is home...because I can.

No one should ever be guilty for a nap. Ever

I love to put on headphones and air guitar

So... I am a total girl. That said, I often find myself randomly singing these lyrics thru out the day:

"To the window (to the window), to the wall (to the wall)

To the sweat drop down my balls (my balls)

To all these b!tches crawl (crawl)"

GET LOW by Lil Jon & the East Side Boys

Guilty pleasure-

Sitting reading a book when I have so many other "productive" things I should be doing (like cleaning the house/dishes etc.).

Last night I was craving chocolate like a wild person - so I had some chocolate covered raisins (decently healthy choice for chocolate I feel?) as I'm eating them my mom walks in and goes "Why are you eating so much junk food lately?" -.- okay I didn't know apple juice (within my calorie limits and small portions), veggies and dip, & ham and cheese rolls & choco raisins = junk food but w/e I wanted to scalp her.

I have a terrible, terrible mad girl-crush on "Phryne Fisher"!

I binge-watch on Netflix those episodes over and over.

I love her clothes, her hair, her arms, her jewels, her beautiful face, the way she rushes into the arms of danger and how she seduces the fascinating men who wander across her path.

I also love the the look of old Melbourne and the inter-wars era.

I'm also a little turned on by her reticent, favorite Police Inspector. ;)

I just checked and it's actually called "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries."

To my knowledge it's never aired on American television. I discovered it on Netflix.

Another period mystery series (but not so sexy) I like is the Canadian "Murdoch Murder Mysteries," featuring thoroughly modern 1890s-era Toronto homicide detective William Murdoch.

Famous people of that time wander onto his crime scenes, e.g., H. G. Wells, Nikola Tesla, Arthur Conan Doyle, Thomas Edison, etc.

Hey! I actually have that on my watchlist. Haven't started it yet though...

Guilty pleasures...I am also a binge watcher of "Catfish" even though I am way past the age of MTV's target market.
