I saw notifications that someone liked one of my posts in a certain thread. When clicking on the note I'm directed to the thread but not to the post that was liked?

Is there a possibility to find out which of the several posts it was that someone liked?

On the far upper right corner of the screen next to logout, there is a rectangular box with a little triangle on the lower right corner. If you move your mouse over it eventually it will highlight the word "notification". This will notify you of the latest likes and also messages you have received and give you a link to those threads.

You will see a number that lets you know how many are waiting for you.

Sometimes it takes a few seconds of waiting before you can click on this. Otherwise it displays these in thread form and doesn't clear the count.

Thanks for the explanation but this isn't answering my question.

E. g. someone likes one of three posts I made in a thread. Is there a way to see which one of the three posts someone liked? I'd like to know what people liked.

The easy way is to reread the thread. The people who liked each post is at the bottom of the post.

Clicking from an email or app notification should take you directly to the post that was liked - at least mine always do.

On the full site, however, 'like' notifications have 3 links, as indicated by caps below, though simply highlighted blue in the actual notification (photo attached for reference):

USERNAME liked a POST YOU MADE in THREAD NAME.

The first is the name of the person who liked your post. Clicking here will send you to their profile. Not what you want.

The second is where you want to click. This will send you to the point in the thread where your post was liked.

The last link will just send you to the start of the thread, and you'll have to fish through the whole thing to find what was liked.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
