I didn't have CVTS but had to wear compression socks and give myself injections for first 5 days...thought it would be bad but didn't hurt as was just fat. I think mine cost around £4800 in total...but took my mum over with me and paid her flight as well.

I went to the Czech Republic with New Leaf and was really happy with them! The nurses did the injections (it was all part of the price), had it done Feb 2nd.

Not the same doctor...I didn't research mine at all other than Belgium Surgery Services (check there) but I was very impressed with my care...better than NHS...it is a competitive market so they need to do a good job. It will be fine. Gears and doubts creep in. Just believe this is the right thing for you and ask questions....mine was all done through email...didn't even meet surgeon until day of surgery.

Hi sam!

Can I ask you how much did you pay for the surgery?

I am considering having a sleeve done.As I live in Brussels, I went for consultation at one of the hospitals here and doctor said it would cost 12.000 eur Little too rich for my blood. I am reeding here people having it done at allmost half a price...

I'm going with Beautiful Beings, I fly to Prague but it's about a two hour journey from there but they collect you an take you back to the airport. It cost me around £4200 plus £120 in flights from M/cr. I didn't have to ay £70 for my CVT injections as my GP is going to do them for me.

Hi RosieCheeks!

Can I ask you how much time did it take from the time you cintacted them till you got your operation date?

If you're willing to go a little further out I paid 4510 euros with New Leaf if money is an issue.

Overall I was very happy with my treatment, I really couldn't fault it. The nurses were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. However, I wouldn't go back to that particular clinic simply because I found the journey home gruelling. The clinic is in Brno, a two-hour drive from Prague airport so I was up at 5am and didn't reach my home, which is ten minutes from Manchester Airport, until 1.30pm, I was completely exhausted and thought it was maybe just a tad too much after a major op. If you think that isn't a problem for you then I have no hesitation in recommending.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
