Dr. Gerald Kirshenbaum - All should look into Dr. Kirshenbaum in Colorado

Recommended Posts

I just got back from Colorado yesterday. Dr. Kirshenbaum did my lap band on Wednesday August 1st. He is tops in my book. He is so compassionate. His price is so low because he wanted to be competitive with the price in Mexico. It is affordable and worth any of you searching for a doctor and a place to have the surgery done. The Crown Pointe Hospital in Parker CO. is like brand new. I would rate it a 10 on a scale of 1-10. The nurses and the care I recieved while I was there is not to be compared with ones I have even worked in as a nurse. The cost is $9950.00 for everything. That even includes the price for returning for your fills. Dr. Kirshenbaum explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable about my concerns. He will explain to you why his cost is so low. He is not in it to make money for himself. He loves doing this to help people that really need the help. I don't know how I could trust any other doctor as I trusted him. He has done (a bunch) of lap bands. I do not remember the number he told me. He was also the first surgeon in Colorado to do laproscopic surgery. He just loves doing it. He gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him at any hour of the day or night if I needed him. He will even be glad to talk to your doctor where ever you live. He will do anything he can to help you. He called me on his own on Thursday just to check on me. My experience there was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone. Just check it out before you go to Mexico or anywhere else.

If anyone has any questions regarding Dr. Kirshenbaum don't hesitate to contact me.

Marty, I agree with you. Besides that they get to see and experience beautiful Colorado. :)

I am to be banded by Dr. Kirshenbaum in October and I am sooo looking forward to it.. It is so uplifting to hear such great things about the Dr. you choose to do your surgery. Thanks for the great reference.

Be well and take care,

Bobbie

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
