Has anyone's weight loss been slow after revision?

Yes, mine certainly has been slow. I had a revision of the sleeve & conversion to a single-anastomosis duodenal switch on December 29, 2015. I had gained about 15 pounds from my low weight after the sleeve & did lose 11 pounds before the revision surgery. I am down about 13-14 pounds since day of surgery, most of that in the first two weeks or so. Since then my weight has fluctuated a couple of pounds. At one point I had gained about 4 pounds but that has now come off by doing just Protein Shakes for 3 days.

Wow..... I thought I was the only one out here. I have lost about 50 pounds. I'm 6 months out. Has your surgeon suggested anything to help?

Hi guys ... I am new to the DS forum. I had the sleeve done in April 2013, self pay in MX. No issues except I should probably have paid for the bypass but since I was self pay I couldnt afford it at that time. I started out over 325 lbs so I had more than the average sleever to lose. I am now looking to have a revision to DS. I now have insurance coverage so I am beginning the process. My total loss with the sleeve was 90 lbs and I have gained 20 lbs back .... struggling with bad choices, grazing and even less time to work out often ... I work FT, attend law school classes part time evenings 4 nights per week, married and have a 9 yr old.

You sound like a busy lady. Are you looking to go back to Mexico to revise?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
