eggs. Of any kind. Which sucks because I LOVE hard boiled ones :(. I'll try again in a month or so.

I kept getting sick after eating them and not putting it together...always assuming I ate too fast or too much. Then one day I was like, hey, this ONLY happens with eggs. DUH. haha

I can eat soft scrambled eggs cooked with butter and cheese but the whites of hard boiled eggs stick terribly. I love them but they come right back up.

WAY too much sugar or fat in a day. I'm not talking one fried chicken leg for lunch, but if I have a particularly low impulse control day and overdo sugar or fat at multiple meals, oh... it's baaaadddd times ahead. Moderation is key for me!

I'm almost 18 months post-op, so everything else that others have mentioned aren't problems for me ....

... except for what @@bikrchk said: Too much sugar on a given day makes me feel like crap for several days thereafter. Ice cream is a particular problem, because it's also a trigger food for me and one of those things I can eat more of than I "thought" I could -- until I feel like shit. I don't dump -- just feel blah for a few days and resolve Never To Do That Again.

BTW, I've never thrown up a single time since WLS. My stomach doesn't like to give up food once it's down there. ;)

I'm 29 months post-op and I can't have anything that has been fried, anything with oil, anything creamy (like salad dressing, sour cream, cream Soup, anything milk based), milk that is anything other than skim or almond/soy, fish, cheese, most sugars (although that is hit or miss- sometimes I'm fine, sometimes I puke), and periodically random things that don't usually make me sick- like today my granola bar made me barf. Basically my new stomach hates all forms of junk food and dairy, which is completely fine with me. If you can't eat badly without puking, it's a lot easier to not re-gain weight.

For me, it's rice, Pasta, and any condiment that's sweet---ketchup, bar-b-q sauce, honey mustard, etc.

Any bits of any of them are not part of my sleeve's idea of" good company", so an immediate "eviction" is to be expected.

Interestingly, I just tried a little BBQ Sauce (not spicy) with my grilled chicken. I know have the worst heartburn I've had since WLS!

eggs are not my favorite anymore, but a couple of times my husband has made hamburgers and I tried to just eat the patty - absolutely no way was that happening. I ended up feeding mine to the dog. Like a few others, I do ok with shrimp, haven't tried any other fish. I can do salad in tiny quantities. So far only two things that have made me really sick, a grilled chicken pita from a local Greek restaurant, not sure why either - maybe the tatziki???? and some chicken parm from an Italian place by the office - I tried to scrape off the sauce and breading, but it was a no go...

Same for me, dough, Pasta and breads don't sit well with me either. I'm actually happy about it because use to love that stuff and the feeling were mutual (stuck right to the butt and tights). ????????????

Raw veggies make me super burpy (cooked veggies are fine) and breads/dough/crust fills me up SUPER fast in an uncomfortable way.

Nothing. Sleeve of steel here. I haven't been overly adventurous but have not encountered anything I could not tolerate.

After fighting with the band for over a decade and not being able to eat anything but crap, I deserve this sleeve! LOL

I had a chipotle black bean burger and that thing "barked" at me for a solid 2 days. Worst heartburn I've ever had!

All solids go down well, but any Soup that isn't essentially a clear liquid causes violent reactions and long food coma. I would have thought lobster bisque (I know, I know, awful choice) would be a slider food but it just sits there for the entire meal taking up the room I need for better Protein. Not going there again!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
