New Quest Bar formula--again

Recommended Posts

They listened and changed. I got free samples of the new formula and they taste like the old ones! They still have the corn Fiber but they claim they won't produce the side effects the first corn fiber formula did--

This is great news. I had a lemon Quest bar after my pool P.T. the other day and I swear I sounded like an entire rhythm section walking out of the pool area!

It's not an issue at home since I live alone, but Gucci, my Chinese crested was starting to give me indignant looks!

Thanks for the update. Gucci thanks you too!! :)

Thank you for the link. I just ordered a box as they are offering a "no shipping fee" coupon right now. They are great tasting and have decent numbers i.e. Protein, sugar, calories and are SOY FREE! (I am extremely allergic to soy)

I just tried my new free sample. It's so dang overly sweet. ???? I'll try the other one tomorrow and see what I think. I think I'll stick with my Protein mug cakes...

What flavor? Cookie dough always seemed too sweet for me and a couple of the others. My apple pie was great! Cinnamon roll tomorrow

Sadly the Protein mug cakes don't go well in my purse or glove compartment!

We sell the entire Quest product line in the BariatricPal store. We received many complaints after they reformulated their bars a few months ago. I believe flatulence was the #1 issue. Personally, I don't eat them but I'd love to hear more feedback from members that have eaten and tested the new formulations.

I had the lemon pie flavor. It was as tart as it was sweet. Loved it. took me all afternoon to eat it--tiny savory bites-yum.

Great news. Thanks.

They really do make some excellent products.

The Protein, low carb and high fiber content of the bars is a perfect meal for my desk drawer at work.

Yeah had the cinnamon roll one this morning and it was definitely sweeter. Lemme know what you think of the Apple Pie! That and the vanilla almond have always been my favorites.

I enjoyed the Apple Pie. It was still slightly too sweet for my taste but I wouldn't be opposed to having one in my purse for an emergency meal.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
