Laziness even after weightloss

make sure you are hitting your Protein and fluid goals daily. not doing so will give you a MAJOR case of drag-ass. if you can't do longer periods, walk up and down the stairs every time there is a commercial on t.v. once you start to move(hopefully), the laws of physics will take over.

I tried to beat laziness by incorporating activities and exercise into my daily routine. I have a chocolate Lab who really needs to be walked twice a day. I could just let him out in the fenced backyard, but we both need the walks. Part of my daily routine is now to go for walks in the morning and evening. He reminds me if I forget.

I also recently signed up for group fitness classes (Team Fitness) at the local gym and have three scheduled classes per week that I pay for. It's now part of my routine and I make time to make sure I attend these sessions. It's so much of a routine I even attended a class in the Phoenix area while I was traveling there earlier this week.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
