end of year accomplishments

Recommended Posts

Well this year I was sleeved 8/3, after taking 3 years to finally make the decision. I am down 64.5 lbs including pre op. Feels amazing. I then had a right total knee replacement, 12/22, and the pain and nausea are unbelievably worse then I thought it was going to be. I was hoping it did not throw me too much off my schedule and routine, with the sleeve and weight loss, but it has. I am really trying to stay on track as much as I can, but it is so hard, and of course no gym right now, but I am grateful for the weight loss I have had. Would love to hear anyone elses stories on their end of year weight loss and the journey so far, whoever wants to share. Here's to each and everyone of us for much success in the coming year

@@sbg224 you are doing great.

Just looked at your stats on left of your post......current BMI of 34.9 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This done and then a total knee replacement just recently.

Amazing......sleeve & knee replacement in the same year? Awesome strategy.

You are gonna feel like The 6 Million Dollar Woman once that knee heals up.

My stats are on the left of my post, too.

They pretty much tell the story. Life is good. 2015 was a year that has closed out well and 2016 is looking like it'll be off to a great start.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
