February 2016 sleevers?

Hey everyone ! Just curious to see if anyone is getting sleeved in or around February 2016. Although I don't have an exact date yet, I'm expected to get sleeved around mid February.

Chair1311...sorry to hear your frustration! Don't worry, just hang in there! Will say a prayer for you! With God all things are possible!

I am so incredibly crushed at the moment. My procedure is set for the 23rd and my insurance has, for the second time, denied my sleeve. The surgeons office has set up a Dr to Dr conference tomorrow between my surgeon and the Med Director for my insurance. I feel like all the hard work over the last year is slowly going down the drain. Sorry for venting but I feel if anyone understands it's the people on this forum.

Hang in there!!! And feel free to vent away. I can only imagine how you must feel. I will be praying that tomorrow's call goes well!! My surgeon hates having to work with insurance companies because they act like having surgery is something we all decided we'd try BEFORE we tried everything else. *HUGS!*

SummerDream....glad to hear you are doing so well! That's a lot of weight to lose...congrats! Can't wait until I get to eat soft foods! Never thought I would be so looking forward to eating an egg. Lol! Keep up the good work and keep me posted! ????

I got band yesterday morning

Don't give up. Been fighting for mine since the Fall of 2012. Got to my pre op appointment and some new resident who doesnt know me or my medical history ordered a bunch of unnecessary tests (before even seeing or reviewing the tests I just completed at that same hospital as ordered by my surgeon) my insurance wont cover and I cant afford and the kicker is they want it done before my surgery on the 24th! My surgeons office is fighting it, said they were a new crew causing issues for their bari patients. The under 800 cal pre op diet has me weak and completely out of it too, almost fell on the way out of the appointment. But trying to stay strong and keep pushing forward, whether I get my surgery next week or later. After all I have endured, like heck I'm not going to keep fighting :)

Thank you very much. I am trying not to worry but its very difficult to not do so. :-)

Thank you I am trying. Hopefully my Doctor can talk some sense into them. Here's to hoping and praying.

It is so ridiculous. These people just see what is on paper. They haven't been there for the fights with the scale or the tears shed because you have to have a seatbelt extender on a plane. I hope yours goes well! I will keep you in my thoughts. And thank you for the encouragement.

Hi everyone, I had my sleeve procedure done on Monday February 15, 2016 and discharged from the hospital last night. So far I am feeling great I just need to increase my water intake.

Kathychef, I had my surgery o Monday also. Everything has gone well, except for indigestion and some pain. Even drinking water out of tiny medicine cups gives me indigestion.. It feels as though everything gets stuck at the top of the esophagus . It really hurts!

I'm having the same problem I had my surgery on Tuesday and my chest still hurts a little to breathe deep like the intibation messed me up

Cigna finally approved my procedure for Tuesday!!! I'm so excited and nervous! My representative at the surgeons office said that the Dr to Dr review didn't even happen she got everything all ironed out herself before! So excited and now sooooo nervous!

Chair1311...so happy for you! Don't be nervous! You are going to do great! It was so hard to watch you so stressed but know we can rejoice in His name with you! Good luck and God Bless! ♥️

I head in for surgery Monday morning at 8:30. Getting kinda nervous!!! [emoji15]

Good luck Jennifer Ostermeier! I'm right behind you going in Tuesday morning and I'm just as nervous
