  1. I totally understand about needing something to chew. I told my husband I was going to lick the Bologna on his sandwich!!! Are you having problems? Why are they keeping you on liquid diet? Hang in there! Prayers be hugs!

  5. . Good luck to both you and Jennifer! Sending hugs and prayers!
  6. Shiloh2004...have you tried using a heating pad for gas? I was getting very uncomfortable and put heating pad on my belly. It helped me to expel some gas and was feeling much better. I also believe that the heat stimulates your digestive tract. Be careful with pain meds as they can cause constipation. Not to get too personal, but are you able to move your bowels? Hope you feel better soon!
  7. Chair1311...so happy for you! Don't be nervous! You are going to do great! It was so hard to watch you so stressed but know we can rejoice in His name with you! Good luck and God Bless! ♥️

  12. SummerDream...I hear you about getting your attention when you take normal size sips! How are you doing since your procedure? Are you on full liquids or purée foods yet? Hope things are good! ????
  13. Shiloh2004 and Nikki3...I agree! It feels like everything is stuck at the top of your esophagus! I was burping up fluid a lot and the PA told me it's because everything is swollen inside. Not necessarily acid reflux, but rather, fluid that is sitting at opening. It feels like you swallowed a pill the wrong way and can feel it going into your stomach. I just take small sips. When I get the pain, it means I am going too fast. I slow down and it goes away! 3 days out of surgery and I don't seem have that back wash problem anymore. Glad to hear everyone is doing so well! ❤️
  14. ???? Songsmith....glad to hear you are doing better! Each day I felt a little better! Keep drinking and moving! You're doing great! ????

  16. Hi Sammie16! Glad you are starting to feel better! I was in a lot of pain when I woke up too! I started feeling a little better once I got the pain meds! Had to take the anti nausea medication twice but it made me feel better right away! Once I was able to get up and moving, things were a lot better! I got to go home yesterday and was able to get a good night sleep. My sister bought me a wedge pillow which keeps my head elevated. My doctor said I needed to keep at a 30% incline when lying down. Got a shower and actually feel human today! ???? I am getting ready for my first protein shake. Hope you are well and making good progress! Take care! Keep me posted!
