Banded in Ga

New to this! Nice to meet yall..my name is Denise & I was banded 27aug2015. I have had 1 fill so far and have managed to lose 21 lbs so far. I started at 230 lbs & am down to 209 now. I just turned the Big 50 & have the rest of my life to figure out how to eat healthier and get this band thing figured out! Lol

I am raising my 4 grandkidz-alone (ages 9,7,3 & 21 mos )-so, I really needed a change, to get healthier.

I have been heavy my whole life and am trying to get use to all this counting calories, getting correct amount of protein intake etc.

So far, it's been a good experience. ..besides the great deal of pain I experienced post op.

I look forward to picking up a few lifelong friends, that are going thru the same things I am...

Looking forward to meeting yall♡♡♡
