I'm two weeks post-op and I don't regret it at all. I wish I did this a long time ago. I had so many negative people tell me I don't need it or you can loose the weight on your own. It's not that hard to lose weight it's harder to keep it off. This tool is going to help me feel better looking in the mirror and allow me to shop in normal clothing sections. No more big girl stores for me. I'm so very happy for this decision.

I'm so glad to hear it gets, better!

I'm just a little over 2 weeks. And I have had many regrets and wondered the same thing. Have I made an irreversible mistake !

But then it'll pass and am glad I did it.

But I still really wish I could have done it on my own tho.

I think we all wish we could've done it on our own. But sometimes God has other plans for us. Now we all have the chance to get and stay healthy for the rest of our lives. No more yoyos for any of us. Good luck.

December 10th will be my 6 month "surgerversay" I'm 119lbs down, and 75 lbs to go, my weight loss has really slowed now and I've already had 2 stalls, but instead of regretting anything I am concentrating on getting my Proteins in again and I've amped up my weight training, I've been really sick this past week and the only thing that helped was Spite or 7UP, last night my wife reminded me that I had drank atleast one the past 6 days, I never realized and remembered that the reason I got this surgery was because I never had a problem following my diet, I would forget and fall back on old habits, without wasting a second I replied "your right, sh**, thanks for telling me" what is my regret??? Don't know, I have yet to think of one........

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
