I was sleeved on 7/29, 2 weeks before you and have lost 25 lbs since surgery so i think u are doing great. If you are so hungry maybe you are not eating enough. If you ate still only eating 600 calories that could be a problem

am in my first week and I came home two pounds heavier than when I went in. Probably all the uv fluids. When did you start to see pounds coming off?

I loss 4 lbs by the end of the first week. Then after that it was about the same until the four or fifth week, then I stalled for about a week. Good luck you will see it and love it!!

That's soooo awesome - we are at the same place... I was sleeved on June 16,15. Started at 277. Today and for the last few weeks I've been at 205-207.. I'm putting major effort in to get to onederland soon... Keep up the good work! post-256832-14460010955586_thumb.jpg post-256832-14460011185274_thumb.jpg

I am four weeks and one day post surgery.

I am at a stall now. I swear my scale is broken. :D

I lost 20 lbs in total including the pre surgery diet and my scale hasn't moved since.

I was so relived to read your story. It still gives me hope that this wasn't a mistake.

congratulations and keep up the good work.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
