Anyone know a place in Louisiana where someone under 18 can have the vertical sleeve? Been searching around cant find anyone

Aren't you of age?Call a few doctors offices...you are smart to be this age and know what you want.I think you need to start with a PCP.Let them know that this is what you want.Start the process ,keep a eating journal,have the doctor give you a medical supervised diet so you have a record of attempts for the insurance company on file.you need a referral to a bariatric doctor from your PCP.Get support from parents if they are on board.You can do this

I agree. Go to a weight loss seminar. I would recommend you find a Center of Excellence. Even if a surgeon is hesitant about the surgery for anyone under 18 if you start the process now you will be ready by the time you are 18.
