Well I was lucky. Two days postop I could manage a poo. 4 days out I can't to save my life. Any ideas or suggestions?

Are you getting enough fluids?

@@emtscott54 Yes, get some "smooth move" tea!! That stuff is a miracle worker! It's natural and effective! It doesn't make my stomach cramp like other stuff does. You can find it at Walmart or health food stores usually.

I didn't poo for 13 days post op. Yup. Thirteen days.

I thought I was going to die. I began drinking Water and then sent wife out to get miralax. I will never know the pain of child birth but I believe my experience may give me some insight.

I am going to double down on water and call doc tomorrow. I got bloodshot eyes from the ordeal.

you can always use Beneful in your Water. Otherwise a gentle depository can help if you feel uncomfortable, that is what my doctor suggested. I waited for the big moment 10 days and as the person before me said it, it was like childbirth hah. Keep up with your water intake and it will help you

Milk of magnesia worked for me. I also did not have a BM until 5 days out. Make sure you get your water in and take walks. Anesthesia and narcs slow everything down and constipate you
