How do I hoist these girls up!?

Recommended Posts

I've never had saggy boobs before, but they are tiny saggy sad little b-c ish balls of boob. I cannot, for the life of me, find a bra that will bring the girls up, and not leave lines in my back and pushing out sideboob .Any ideas? And going into a store to get measured, is kind of out of my comfort zone, so that's out.

Boob job. :) I didn't have the problem of small saggy boobs...mine were large, hanging, udders. I did like the Victoria Secret Body collection which has a good lift and a strong underwire, however ultimately I just had a breast lift and augment done and now these girls are suspended right where they should be.

I went with the boob job too. Best thing EVER. In my area, breast lift with augmentation runs about $7500, but I went to Mexico and got a Tummy Tuck and all-over Lipo at the same time for a total of about $10500 (including a two week stay in the recovery house there and daily visits from my surgeon!).

Getting measured is out of your comfort zone but surgery is not? With all due respect, let me please assure you that these women are professionals and have seen it all. I have 'breasticles'. Useless hanging flesh that sits on my chest and not between my legs. I got measured and spent quite alot of money on very good bras. You wouldn't believe how good the girls look sitting in those very expensive boulder holders. Obviously if you want surgery, go for it honey, but don't rule out a way less invasive option.

Lane Bryant Cacique Balconette is doing the trick for me. My girls have NEVER been perky, but after losing 60 lbs. they weren't as robust as before (no pun intended). I love the Cacique bras and seamless panties. Wait for one of their really good sales. If you can get an associate who knows how to properly fit you in a new bra, you'll be in great shape. I believe all associates have been training in fitting for bras. I had an excellent idea of what size I was going to need when I last shopped there. The unfortunate thing was they quit carrying the style I had been wearing for about 2-3 years (back smoother), so the associate recommended the Balconette. The girls and I are happy now.......so is my hubby

I have to say I echo what @@gowalking said. Surgery should be the last option unless your really in major discomfort. i know how large boobs can feel when they are weighing you down and finding a bra that fits comfortably and does the job is a daunting task especially while you are in the process of losing weight! I have had to change my bra size 3 times already, and those suckers can be expensive!! My cup size has not changed very much but my body circumference has thank goodness they come with three levels of closure so they at least last through a few dress size changes.

When I am at the gym or doing any kind of impact sport, or even working at home doing yard/house work I always wear a sports bra for support. I find that having the correct garments are really important to how you look in your clothes and ultimately out of them.

I echo MrsSugarbabe on Lane Bryant's Cacique bras. I hate underwires so I get the full coverage ones without the underwire. Their prices aren't too bad, have quite a few color choices, they also have the three level closure hooks, are comfortable and often go on sale.

I went to a high end dept. store, got measured, found out I was wearing a totally wrong size bra. I bought two Waacol bra's . they are the most comfortable and best fitting bra's ever. I already had old lady sag but when I lost weight they really hung low. the waacol bra's lift em up and getting professionally measured made all the difference.

I am another fan of the Lane Bryant Cacique bras. The underwire balconette has great support and a nice round shape.

Getting measured is nothing compared to a boob job! The surgeon has to draw all over your breasts while you are standing there naked, before he puts you to sleep. So I would think the help of a nice salesperson would seem very do-able in comparison! A good quality bra in the correct size can hide a multitude of sins. Take the plunge ????

Another vote for Cacique bras from Lane Bryant. I haven't tried the balconette but the t shirt bras are great. Underwire and shaping keep them where they're supposed to be.

Watch for the sales and it's not too bad.

They'll check you for correct size and it's done over your clothing so there isn't any reason to be squirmish.

Lane Bryant is having a sale NOW!!! Some styles of Cacique bras are buy 2, get 2 free and other Cacique styles are buy 1, get 1 for 50% off. I placed an order online last night -- free shipping to the store closest to you. Even though my last purchase was of the smooth balconette, only because I was told the back smoother had been discontinued, I noticed online last night that the back smoother was available again so that is what I ordered. Either style works well for me and my girls :D Happy shopping, Ladies!!!

I am new here today... and only two weeks out from my sleeve surgery on the 23rd. I am amazed I have kept my calories down to 467 today so far... that leaves me almost 750 left for dinner and maybe a snack. This is going to be tough for two weeks... but I have to believe I can do it!

Hey everyone. I'm new here so I thought I should introduce myself. I am 53y/o and am scheduled for Gastric Bypass on June 25th, 2025. I'm located in San Antonio, Texas. I will be having my surgery in Tiajuana Mexico. I've wanted this for years, but I always had insurance where bariatric procedures were excluded. Finally I am able to afford to pay out of pocket.  I can't wait to get started, and I hope I'm prepared for the initial period of "hell". I know what I have signed up for, but I'm sure the good to come will out way the temporary period of discomfort and feelings of regret. I'd love to find people to talk to who have been through the same procedure or experience before. So I look forward to meeting you all. Hope you have a great week!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

I hope your surgery on Wednesday goes well. You will be able to do all sorts of new things as you find your new normal after surgery. I don't know this from experience yet, but I am seeing a lot of positive things from people who have had it done. Best of luck!

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.
