My little incisions are sooo itchy!

Do you have stitches or glue?

I went to have my nails done today, and then I went shopping a little. I think I over did it, I really need a nap. I am going to limit the distances I drive until I have my follow up appointment.

I have 4 that are stitches and 1 that is staples.
Anyone gone to pool or been in Water a short time with glue on? Is that OK?

You can't be in Water for 2 weeks.

Think about Chlorine getting into an open wound....

There are a couple private FB July Sleever groups. I do not use Facebook, but if you look in some of the other july threads you will find the information on them

I'm happy to report that I'm feeling awesome, day 9! Yesterday I was even able to go for 2 walks, getting in almost 12000 steps. I'm getting close and closer to my Protein goal every day & have hit my Water goal for the last 3 days straight! I feel great & am so happy n fortunate to have had this surgery!!

Yay you for being so strong during the get together! I haven't had to experience that yet but know it will be tough. Congrats on getting through it unscathed!

I am 1 week out and still having issues getting all my fluids in but I am able to eat yogurt now and cream Soups. From what my doctor said that's all a part of my Fluid intake so I'm happy to be able to advance. I bought silicone ice pop makers and made crystal light ice pops. That's seemed to help.

Sorry your surgery was cancelled Khaled. Did they saw when you can have it?

Hematologist says I am normal nothing is wrong, and he says I am cleared to have the surgery.

Now I am waiting for surgery staff to call me and reschedule.

How is everyone feeling today? I am feeling pretty close to 100%. I think I am going to stop sleeping on the couch and move to the bed. I am able to drink a lot of fluids now. Almost taking full swallows. Not gulp but pretty normal sized amounts. Follow up appointment is tomorrow then on to full liquids. I can't wait for a good cup of Soup.< /p>

I'm day five. Feeling like a million bucks no pain meds yet. Only nausea came after taking Vitamins so going to stop until advancing to soft food. Gone shopping twice now with no trouble. I do get tired quickly but that's to be expected. I hope everyone will have an easy time of it.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
