Hello everyone the day has come!!! Today, I embark a scary but hopeful journey. I start my preop liquid diet and will be having surgery on Fri May 8th!!! If anyone else is scheduled around this time pls consider being my buddy, as I will need someone to share this most exciting experience with.

Hi Manuela!! I am new here, and according to the dr. my surgery date could be May 11, which is close to yours. I did all the pre-op appts and am just waiting on the insurance piece. I am going to call them Monday and see what's happening. Hopefully my May 11 date still stands. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I understand what you are feeling because I'm feeling it too! I'm scared and excited and I've had so many emotions over the past few weeks that I am just exhausted both mentally and physically! OK buddy, here we go! :-D
