Having trouble not overeating at nite

HI I was banded on May 10,2007. I lost about 18 pounds immediately from the all liquid protein diet but now that I'm 51/2 weeks and eating soft and some regular foods I seem to want to overeat at nite. I don't seem to feel that full from my band at all and wondered if anyone else was experiencing this too. My weight loss has slowed down considerably.

Hi - I was starting to feel that way just before I got my first fill. When are you due for a check-up? Your doctor may suggest a fill. But then

you will have to be VERY careful about eating s l o w l y. I am having

some trouble with pb'ing. It seems even though I try to eat slowly, I cannot keep some meals down. Maybe I cannot get used to eating such small amounts! Good Luck!! Nanavivian

Hi, Thanks for your comments. I probably won't have my first fill until the end of August because I live in florida and am Mass. for the summer. I hope that's not too long to wait because I don't want to stop losing weight. It seems that I have no trouble getting food down and no side effects. Thanks. Missym

did your doctor not have a plan to see you 4 or 5 weeks after your surgery? I am scheduled on the 28th of this month and am ready. They say that is when the real issues of eating right are very important. I am counting the days till the 28th....

good luck
