Artificial sugar vs real sugar

Recommended Posts

Project me, she does lie she is lying outright when she says artificial sweeteners cause cancer. I posted proof that she is lying. If you seriously believe she is conducting experiments on humans without any medical training whatsoever Then I dont know what to say. She says sugar doesn't increase a diabetic's blood sugar, which is an outright lie, and im sure you know that having a son who is diabetic. She says she knows more than paramedics do, expect she says they are the same as emt but give a few meds. which is false, ive done tracheotomies, ive delivered babies, and so much more but this "lady" says no, , we can scope for choking, we defib, and much more. She says people tell her she should be a doctor and she compares herself to one. She is a secretary in the er and acts like she is the er doc. she says her doctor approves of her doing unlicensed untrained and unprofessional studies on humans. and that their own doctors said it was ok ( which would get their license revoked by the way) so everything she said is a lie, and the word fat never scares me, to me Fat is a descriptive word, it is not the same as obese, nor is it the same as overweight. Im sorry you dont like the word, truly I am but it fits this person to a T.

NFN, but I have little to no regard for what the FDA says is "safe". Nor do I subscribe to the NCI or their findings as gospel. Both the FDA and the NCI are loaded with politically persuasive connections. Politicians, as we know are owned by corporations. Now with that said, I believe that all things natural are better for you then their synthetic substitutes. That goes for GMO's, pesticides, herbicides, margarine and sweeteners. I won't go near them

I have started taking real sugar in my tea, about 5 cups daily. But then I hardly take carbs in any other form.

5 cups of sugar might be a bit much.
I think they meant 5 cups of tea with added sugar, not 5 cups of sugar. Really now?

I tend to avoid them if I can. Obviously giving up diet soda pre-op made a huge dent. Today if I sweeten a drink I use stevia. I don't do yogurt since I came off purees unless it's unflavored and I'm adding ranch dip to make a veggie dip. My whey powder and fav Protein Bars do have sucralose so there's that, but I don't replace sugar when baking or whatever, I just use the sugar and watch the quantity of what I'm eating. If I WAY overdo on sugar, I'll dump so it's a good deterrent not to binge!

Um, I was joking. Was trying add a bit of levity. A thousand pardons.

No worries we are sorry it seems like everybody was jumping on the attack bandwagon. In essence I was guilty of it myself.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
