Congrats to you…sounds like you are already doing great!

Listen to your doc and listen to your band and listen to what your body is telling you and you will be a success!

Woo hoo!

So happy for you -- great to have the surgery in the rear view mirror and to have this new chapter in your life. Best wishes!

I am new to this website - don't know where to tell my story - will do it here to start. I had my lap band last May at a weight of 267 and did very well for 4 months. Then my husband and I moved to an Assisted Living facility where we have among other things 3 meals a day - when I was captain of my own ship I had no problems loosing 65 lbs. by the middle of September - then we moved and it has been down hill ever since to the place that we are going to move out of here and back into our own apartment again - meanwhile I have lost the momentum and have gone back to old habits.

I can't let this happen - I have come too far and have a big commitment to stick!!

It's never too late to get back on the band wagon! Get in to see your doc and go over everything. If anyone can help you get started again it's the doctors! Good luck!

I hope both of you keep us posted on your progress! :)

Welcome to the band @@inwiththenew! Stay active on the boards here and it will help you so much! Great support and encouragement here! This same message can be for you too craftlady. Best wishes to you both
