Sorry, no before or after pics yet, but I started at 283, I am 5'6 I wore a tight 24 pants, and down to a loose 18..getting ready to move into 16's I only weigh myself at Publix when I go and the last time which was about 2 weeks ago I was at 241.

My surgery was 11/24

So, about 42 pounds in 2 months.

NEVER have I been able to do something like that in my life!!

Ok the first pic was 5 months in My start weight was 288 and size 24 and I think at five months I was in a 16/18. I'm a very curvy build. Surgeon actually used the words big boned which I found funny because isn't that a great excuse.

Second pic- right was at 8 months. I was in a size 14/16. Left was at 10 months at a 12/14.

3rd and 4th are just current different angles.

I'm 5'5. I will be honest and tell you I did most of my losing with diet. I am exercising now. I am currently at my one year mark and 190-195 so almost (but not quite ????) 100 lbs down. We are all build differently so keep that in mind. Some ppl are built to be a size 4 and others a size 10. Good luck and I hope that this helps! Remember the first few months are the hardest but still the best choice I've ever made! It's time to live life!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your pictures!! You all look AMAZING and make me that much more excited for my surgery coming up on March 9!! Just from looking at all of your pictures and reading the many different stories on this site, I know that with keeping with what my NUT has been teaching me for the past six months and with proper exercise I can look/feel this healthy too for the rest of my life!

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
