No easy way to say this, but I think I stink. :o I am 5 weeks out and I have noticed, even with showering, I smell. Is this possible? What is up with this and how do I stop it?

It's a normal process in the beginning while dropping weight so fast. I believe it's cause by Ketosis. There's not much you can do about it but it does resolve in time. Just remember that it's a good thing because your body is doing what it should right now. Make sure to get all your fluids in. That's important.

It is like when you have a baby. There are so many things that blow your mind. You ask and someone says "Oh that does happen." Those little things no one tells you about.

Great! Something else to worry about!

Don't worry, it passes fairly quickly.

The paramedics thought I was drunk because I had ketosis so bad. Hahahaha. Lame

I am very interested in the stuff no one talks about regarding wls. Do other body smells change. I heard the duo-switch gives you bad breath? Did vaginal smell or discharge change positive or negatively for anyone? I wish there was a giant list I'm so curious!

My pee smells the worse. It smells like vitamins and makes me want to gag. :-/

Ohhhhhhh. Well that explains it!!!!!

About two months out I started having the worst body odor. Had to switch to a strong deodorant. Flipped me out. Couldn't stand to be in the room with myself. Lol.

Ladies, has anyone else experienced smelling bad "down there?" I pray it's not just me! I am really weirded out. I have great hygiene, but nothing seems to help! I'm almost a month post-op.

Omg!!!! I noticed the smell about few days ago around 2 in the morning. I said what is that smell?? Is that me smelling like that? Get up and wash your A$$ girl. I take pride in my hygiene but this is a bit much. I am like the other responders, one more thing they didn't tell us about. I am already having emotional issues because I am so confused as to what my body is doing on a day to day basis. NOW I stink. Well they say beauty is pain or the price you pay to be beautiful!!!!!!!! I sorry guys but I have to make myself laugh to keep from crying again. Good luck everyone.
