How long did your STALL last?

Recommended Posts

I'm in a stall. I'm fine with it, just wondering how long does it typically last. I know we are all different, just looking for a consensus / average.

My stalls lasted from 1 to 3 weeks, when I was sticking to my recommended calories and foods. When I was... errrr... "experimenting" (experimenting: definition - eating stuff I wasn't supposed to eat) with new foods, and creating my stalls as a result, they would last until I cleaned up my eating habits.

I have not yet had a stall, but I'm sure it's coming. My surgery date was Dec.22 and I am hearing some of those people stalling already. I was told to make sure to drink the liquids, exercise and take measurements becz it will not always come off in weight we see.

I never weighed that much so the only stall I ever knew about was a month long around 2-3 months postop. If you don't want to stall, then follow your plan and don't step on the scale. I "avoided" the 3 week stall by not weighing between 2 and 6 weeks postop.

I hardly weigh myself unless I have an appt or my trainer makes me step on a scale . I just follow my plan and don't like to become traumatized my stepping on the scale. I will be two

Months post op tomorrow and have lost 40lbs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
