Good morning. Well my Valentine's Day will. I very much enjoyed downtimes day with my husband and two kids. I probably overestimated on some of the foods that I had because I could not figure out how to count the calories. Which is never a good thing. but regardless today I am back on the wagon

I was a little embarrassed because she asked if a student pa could come in and observe....don't like people seeing my belly but, hey they gotta learn! Hope everyone's having a great day!

nailpro00 - how'd you do today??? Glad you had a plan and posted it. That's what this thread is all about.

bacon - where do you live? I'm in NE TN and it's cold and snowy here. We moved from SW GA in May, so winter weather is all new and fun! Sorry about your rough day. How can I pray for you?

2babuttery - how are you doing after that fill? Proud of you for being ready for liquids, that makes it so much easier!

enjoythetime, punkinvine, justwatchme - would love to hear how you're doing too!

All is well here. Allowed myself to go to 1000 calories yesterday with a treat. Planned and counted, so I'm good with that. Went out to lunch with my daughter and had a major victory. Split a lunch item with her and made myself leave a little on the plate. That's a huge win in my food-crazed, compulsive eating world. All Water is in and we walked a 4 mile video this evening. I've had +/- 768 calories today, so right on track. I had to guesstimate the eating out, but aimed high rather than low, so should be fine. Meals are planned for tomorrow and I'll roll with it.

Keep it up, everybody and let me hear from you!!

Eek! I think my fill may have been a bit too much. Up ALL night with reflux. And my tummy feels kind of bloated.

Eek! I think my fill may have been a bit too much. Up ALL night with reflux. And my tummy feels kind of bloated.

Thank you for posting this and I hope you get it resolved. I have a fill appointment today and I don't feel as if I really need one, but I was debating whether to get a tiny fill anyway. I won't.

Today I will do my stairs at work on a better schedule. Yesterday I ended up cramming them into the end of the day and it was too much. I was miserable and winded. Pacing myself works so much better. I also have an NP appointment and it's going to just be a checkup. I don't want to have a too tight band. Aiming for 1200 calories today.

Butterfly-nothing worse than reflux! Let me know what you decide to do. When I had the same experience, I had to go to Clear liquids, then to creamy, then to soft, etc. It was a week-long process and I still had to have a little taken out. It's such a fine-tuning! Kudos to you for listening to your body and doing what works for you.

Watchme-yep, me too. Any thoughts I've had of a tiny fill just left the building!

Bacon-stay safe today.

Meals planned, Water will be consumed, exercise will get done.

FYI for those interested in my doc reducing my water...stu into his recommended 64 oz & no reflux. Upped it yesterday to test the waters (just because I'm like that), and had reflux last night. Will stick to 64 today. ????

For accountability, I'll be back later to post and check on you guys. Have a dandy day!!

Just like to tell my experience about being over filled. The last fill I had was the fall of 2011. I thought I was too tight, but the doc said I would be good. I could not get a drop of anything through. The fill was on a tues and the doc was out until the fowling tues. I said to myself that eventually it will settle in and id be good. By friday night I was dehydrated and miserable. I went to three different hospitals and no one would stick a needle in me. The fourth was seceral hours away but there was a resident there that had "some" experience with fill ports. I finally got some relief on sat morn. I swore on the way home I would never get another fill.. that started a spiril out of control time where I started binge eating and gained all but 50 pounds back. So IMO fills are good but there is a FINE line. Do not let a bad fill be the start of gaining your weight back. And yes... I will be getting a fill again. My appointment is April 2.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
