Are you adding color or taking it out?

If I was you just call a salon and ask for a master hair dressing I'm sure they will know what is best they handle everything. I have stopped dying my hair and cut it from my butt to my jawline as of today so I can manage the Hair loss and also not have to worry about the color treatments as much, Almost forgot I had jet black hair. Good lucK

Thank you for the info and encouragement. I continue to eat 5 small meals where one meal might be some yogurt and cottage cheese. I am in a stall at 200 pounds. I keep wondering if my body is on hold or I'm having a mental fear of being below 200. It's the weight I've reach before and then gone back up.

In any event, I'm going going up and listening to what I need. My downfall is rice crackers---I eat a few at a meal to get some crunch. I may have to give them up. I like them to much. Not a lot of calories but I eat too many.

Best to everyone! I appreciate the support from this group! And need it.

So it's kinda been a bummer of a week I lost some weight and since I'm trying really hard to lose 30 lbs by November I felt like I was doing so GOOD I only had one more pound to lose til September the average of 10 lbs a month. So I've been working out with my trainer and doing really great on my eating and then 3 days again boom up 4 lbs. I tried not to stress said oh its Water weight no big deal. Cut out ALL the sodium in my diet. This morning up 2 lbs from that. So upsetting to the point I wanted to say forget it, I'm putting the scale away for the week and just going to focus but man it is really a downer.

I made goal ???? I am now a 127 lb girl. My goal was 130 those last few lbs were hanging on forever. So here's some of my advice the scale is a liar. When I wasn't losing I really was.. I was dropping sizes, one week my body was all weird looking the next it was evening out all my saggy areas. So I believe I'm entering the body image phase. Like who am I? I look weird deflated..has my nose always been this big or was it buried under my old chubby cheeks? If one more person says wow April you've lost a whole person I'm throat punching them..It's such a mental game..anyways I rewarded myself by buying jeans you know the kind that has the measurements I'm a 26 x27 not a 17,16,15,14, etc so keep up the great work it will come off and let's try and keep our minds strong :))

@@Aprilhoffman78 - AMAZING!! Good for you!

I'm hovering around the 157lb mark. My personal goal is 145 and I'll work away at it until I get there! I'm feeling fantastic and looking decent so I'm content and happy. It'll feel very strange one day to NOT need to lose any weight!

@@Veronica Page - I so admire your transparency and courage to be REAL. Don't give up! We are all cheering for you! You can do it and you've come so far!

I completely agree with you, no one understands. Stay strong! Try eatting something out of the norm to throw your body off, that always seemed to help me. I would eat triscuit n squeeze cheese and crab dip then a Breakfast burrito and steak for dinner just random things.

so I don't know about you ladies but my monthly cycles were really off and CRAZY heavy so I called my surgeon and he told me since I was having rapid weight loss to go see my ob/gyn and get the depo shot to hold off my periods until I was almost at goal and my body would regulate again. So I went today and I have pcos which is not uncommon but she is like hey you are just bleeding to bleed you are not able to ever get pregnant again cause your uterus is twice the normal size ect ect ect. Great, awesome, oh that explains the slow weight loss and who knows what else...good thing is I did get my shot and shouldn't get my monthly anymore. Ugh just annoying!

Had to share my weekend happiness. 9mo post op - sitting 5lbs under surgeons goal. Enjoyed celebrating 6yrs of marriage with my husband and just feeling normal sized and pretty! It's a very new feeling - couldn't be happier with my Vsg journey and my choice to walk this path. So incredibly proud of everyone here, doing the hard work to gain personal success! Keep it up!

Stick with us. This is the time we need each other the most.

The honeymoon is over for me, it is harder and I can eat more, have more hunger.

Stay off the scale.

Having lost 100 lbs 20 yrs ago, I know I can lose it BUT can I keep it off?@&^%&*%!!!!!!

I am allowing a few sliders to creep in and that is bad news. Got rid of the crackers tonight and Back off sugar.

And I did lose inches even tho I didn't lose pounds.

It's a lifetime challenge but the rewards are so worth it!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
