I had my gastric bypass surgery on 02/12 and I stayed overnight at the hospital (Emory at John's Creek, GA). The procedure took about 2 hours, then I was in recovery, then eventually taken to my room.

The dizzy spells are most likely caused by low blood pressure which is a result of dehydration. As you drink more fluids that will pass. I experienced the same problem and that is what my doctor told me.

I meet with my surgeon today! 10 day Post-op check up. I'm so excited to weigh in and see results. Also I'm so excited to eat pureed!!!!

My liquid diet was 3 weeks pre surgery, so it's literally been like a month and a half since I've used my teeth! I'm dreaming about what to try first.... Have y'all moved on to purée? If so, what was the first thing you had and how did it go?

Am I the last Feburary person? Tomorrow is the day. Only a one day liquid diet..but even with that I was allowed to have breakfast. Cold is still hanging on but nurse at hospital wasn't concerned either. I call today to get my surgery time. It's going to be so much fun coughing and sneezing after surgery. But I never do things the easy way. :)

Good luck tomorrow Crosby! Hopefully the coughing and sneezing lets up soon!
