I was expecting a 6 month wait but got in because there was a cancellation! I'm just wondering how long after blood work do I go in for surgery?

In most cases, the bloodwork needs to be within 3 months of surgery. I don't believe they schedule a surgery based on when your lab work is done - but maybe your surgeon is different.

I have a friend who had it done and she just told me she had hers within 3 weeks of blood work! I'm in New Brunswick, Canada I've been waiting 4 years whats another 3 months right lol

I should say that there were 2 different batches of tests done. The massive bloodwork to check vitamin and thyroid levels, etc. needed to be within 3 months. The EKG, final bloodwork and pre-op physical all needed to be within one month of the surgery.

Yes well I guess this would be my final blood work I guess I'm so excited because at my last meet they told me there could be 6 months before I would get called in for my blood and cardiogram and X-rays apparently here they want X-rays also but I got a call this morning and there was a cancellation and I was on the top of the list yay
