Just want to if anyone was kept longer than 2 days?

I have spent another nite. Due gas pain and nausea

2 nights for me. The doc wanted to send me home after the first night but I was having trouble with pain control and getting enough fluids in orally. I asked for the 2nd night because I live over 3 hours from the hospital. I was really glad I stayed the 2nd night because it made a world of difference.

Worked Monday. Surgery Tuesday. Discharged on Thursday and back to work. Monday.

My mom had surgery on a Tuesday and released on Friday. She stayed an extra day because she has copd and was diabetic so they wanted an extra day of observation. However all is well.
