Been so sick 3 weeks post op. Can't get fluids down. Woken up vomiting bile, brown mucus and blood thus morning. Vomited yesterday too but not blood. I just want them to find out what's wrong with me. Was sleeved nov 6th. Was doing OK a week or 2 out and started getting sick 6 days ago. Went to ER this past Monday. But they have me some fluids and a cat scan and blood work and didn't find anything except some esophageal swelling. They should have done an EGD. Going to an different ER. Been on straight gatorade for 4 days and getting worse. I should have went in yesterday but didn't want to ruin thanksgiving. Appreciate the prayers. I just want to get well.

Hey all. Thanks for the prayers and wishes. They admitted me and will be here at least until Monday or Tuesday. Surgeon will do EGD when he returns beginning of week. Right now they believe I have an ulcer/abscess. Also was told I had tested positive for h pylori from pre op EGD biopsy but they just noticed now? ? So I am on IV fluids anti biotics and some PPI drip. I've maybe got 10 oz of fluids today. Just getting worse so best I am here I guess. Haven't had any food or protein in a week. Starving but can't even tolerate water. Will keep u all posted. Thanks all!

I'm so glad you are in the hospital... best place to be right now. They'll get it sorted out and you'll feel better and be able to eat. Best wishes!

My thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. I am glad to know you're in the right place and while I know you don't want to be there, at least you are getting the iv and you need those fluids.

Please contact your surgeon and if your procedure was done near by don't call just go! You cannot take chances with this type of thing. check for fever and if you have one...go...
