It's a program where you pay money and they send you 5 different Snacks once a month. It's usually never the same unless you requests and it's super healthy low in fat and sugar and yummy like today I got lemon drop Cookies, plantain chips, cashew clusters, lemon chips with flax seeds and whole wheat raspberry fig Nuttons and they are all heaven. Google the website I thinks it's worth it.

Thank you, Aribay1

I've heard of a similar "box". I think it was called "Graze" or something like that.

Sounds über yummy! I'll check it out

I got a weekly Graze box pre op and really enjoyed it! It was wonderful to have healthy Snacks and try new things. I suspended my graze membership since I am only 3 days post op, but I intend to re-start delivery once I am back to real food again.

The thing about the Graze box (don't know about Nature Box) was cost.

It looked to me like you didn't get very much for the price.

I checked it online. Maybe the pics made it look small?

To those of you who've ordered these boxes, do you feel you got value for your money?

I pay $20 for 5 3 oz. Bags of nature box. I feel like it's a great deal.

I think Graze was a decent value. It was $5 ( I think) per box and came with 4 Snacks. I think it was a little expensive but with our post op appetites would be definitely sufficient. I am extremely frugal and still think it is a decent value for good quality and healthy snacks that we so desperately need after surgery!

I love both Graze and Naturebox, didn't use either till I was about 8-9 months out though and use it specifically to fuel for running because it's kind of high carb, but good carbs mostly.

Graze is $6 for four boxes so $1.50 per snack and each is PLENTY for me...in fact I will often split it with my son or save half for later.

I have some codes for first and fourth box for free if anyone wants one, and yes I get a free box too (box of four snacks) if you use the code.

Naturebox is a little more tricky for me because I have to package it up into single serving Ziplocs when they arrive, or bring them on a trail or long run where I can justify eating more than a serving. For some reason I can eat more of those than the Graze ones! Probably because they have more carbs...the "nom noms" are especially good and small but carb packed, whereas the Graze tend to have more nuts so I don't eat as much. Not as much of a slider.

I have codes for your 1st and 5th Graze box free if anyone wants to give it a try pm me. You can cancel after the 1st box if you don't want anymore and you will not be charged anything. It also allows you to specify if you are looking for high Protein, low fat, low calorie, low carb, sweets, and whatever else your fancy may be. Give it a try and if you like it great, if not, you are aren't out anything.

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to check that out thanks!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
