My preop diet is getting better for me. The first 2 days were the worst! I was starving and had a horrible headache. Today was the first day that I have felt good. I lost 19 pounds and my body notices it. It hurts less to stand up and walk already. I don't feel like I am starving anymore, and honestly I'm really not that hungry today as I was the first 2 days. I hope each day keeps getting easier.. 10 days until surgery :)

Oh as far as advice... Get ice chips like crushed iuce from gas station or from Sonic if you have one the ice really helped curb my craving to snack. And if you don't mind cooking homemade chicken broth is a thousand times better than store bought. And last but not least I keep telling myself its only 10 more days you got this girl only 10 more days. That has helped me a lot.

I'm 3 days post and I'm having no reflux but occasional pain still when I drink or eat a Jello. Things feel funny in there. Best feeling us drinking hotbeef broth. Worst is ice Water which suprised me! Not as sore as others thought so I feel good about how things are going. My dr dies have me on Pepcid twice a day for few weeks til tummy heals.

I know it's been so much easier than I anticipated. I'm feeling very blessed for that. My program doesn't have me starting Protein until tomorrow. I won't have any problems because I love Greek yogurt, protein pudding, GENEPRO flavorless powder for Soup. Are you already doing protein? I am doing cream of wheat in the morning though. I hope you're doing better tomorrow. Are you on Pepcid?

Our goal is 60 g to start Protein. One Greek yogurt one protein pudding and one serving of Soup will have all of that for me. Hoping to get in more like 80.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
