I am about 4 weeks out from a RNY, and I am so tired. I took 3 naps yesterday and 2 today so far. Is this normal? Some people say yes, some people say no. I did not get enough Protein for the 3 days before yesterday, but I did yesterday and today. How long do you think it will be before I perk up a bit? Also, I have been taking a B-12 liquid supplement, but is it possible that it has not been absorbing well? I have ordered sublingual B-12 from Celebrate and it should be here by Friday. Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

Each person is different. Don't get upset if you need more sleep. If you are having trouble with getting enough Protein in try and get it in earlier in the day. I remember at the beginning I ran out of time in the day because of naps and things. Getting your Protein will give you more energy. Give yourself time to heal. I am 8 weeks and I am being told remember there is still a lot of healing going on inside. I did already return to work but that 1 week was very tiring. I have finally gotten the B12 in now and I feel much better. Starting my day with a "hot Chocolate" I do 8 oz of Water warmed and add the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chocolate protein. I actually started using a scope and a half and I get 35 protein in first thing in the morning. Wish you luck on your journey.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
