Sassy24, thank you for those kind words. All is well. Having a difficult time getting my fluids in. But I am realizing that it is getting a little better & easier each day. I can't stand the taste of the Protein Drinks. They are horrible to me. But I did like the Unjury chicken Soup. I'm just about finished with clear fluids & will switch to full in a couple of days. I'm hoping that I get my required Protein in during that stage. I will have more of a variety to choose from. Sometimes I feel like didn't prepare myself for this phase. I did buy what I need ed but I didn't taste it before hand.

Awwww, you'll be fine:+)...sometimes ya just can't think of 'everything' to do. I'm getting quite nervous awaiting my very first appointment. Hope I don't out of the range criteria for having this surgery cuz I REALLY need it. I have other things going on with me besides the weight. Right now I'm 210 and by the time I have to lose those required 10 pounds, that may put me out of bmi range. Will be praying that you continue progress nicely. I'll be checking in again.

Sassy24.... Things will be just fine. My 1st post op appt was yesterday & I was taken off of 1 blood pressure medicine, my diabetic medication was cut in half. I was so happy! I started this journey at 278, in currently 255.5. Most of my WL was during the liquid stage. During the 6 months I ate like it was the end of the world. Lol, but you will be fine. Keep me posted on how you are doing.

Indeed, I will keep you posted:+) PS:BTW, i'm eating right now too like it's the end of the world, only because I wanna stay the weight I am right now and not slip below the bmi criteria, but i know FULL WELL what I have to do once I'm ok'd for surgery, and for the REST of my life if I wanna live a 'healthy' life!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
