No one EVER told me how weak I was going to be. My anxiety has hit the roof. But, alas, it's coming down. I will be glad to get my strength back

Today was my first day of puree... not bad....how many calories are yall trying to stay under during this stage?

I too also just started purée today, I am not worrying about calories I think I would be under 500 at this stage most days. Just trying to do Protein first then veggies.

Glad I am not the only one, I have been so tired this week and yes also getting upset very easy over little things.

But I would not change it.

Sleeved on 9-18-14. I have lost 30 lbs and Thursday 10-2-14 was the first day I didn't have to go back to bed all day. I think it is because I had 2 tablespoons of pureed chicken. I boiled a fresh peach, added chicken then put it in the food processor. It was delicious.

Well I am experiencing the week 2/3 stall! No weight gained or lost. I know it's part of the process but still disheartening.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Not yet....but trying to prepare myself for when it happens...try only weighing yourself maybe twice a month so maybe you will never see another stall...this to shall pass!

I'm experiencing a stall too. I read how much others are losing and I've only lost 12lbs post surgery and I'm not cheating. I lost more in less time prior to surgery.

2morrow is 3 weeks sleeved foe me

I went back to work last Monday n it's been hard cause I'm very tired everyday. I work in sales n had to go back on the road. The upside is I'm down 36 lbs total from 2 week preop diet. The loss has def slowed down when I switch to purées but is still coming off. What is everyone doing for energy? I have a bad ankle and walking for exercise after working all day is still too painful.

Hi! My surgery was September 17th and i have lost 10 lbs.. Was wondering if it should be more? I have it in my mind that this isn't going to work for me! Is that crazy to think that way? I definitely feel like I'm in a stall. Starting weight 212. And I'm a 43 yo female.

I think at some time we all think this but think positive...we are all different and will all drop weight differently....I was September 15 and have dropped 15 pounds...but i will take it...15 lbs gone and not gained! :)

Sleeved 15 September, dropped about 22lbs since then but it looks like I've also hit the 3 week stall. Not too discouraged as it's coincided with moving to pureed foods and walking 2 1/2 miles to work each day so I suspect (hope) it's partly adding muscle from exercise while still losing fat. My clothes are still feeling looser.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
