You go to the plus size because you still don't know your new size and the store clerk ask if you're looking to buy a gift for someone☺️ (I'm a size 6-8 dress/12 pants from a 16-18 dress/20-22 pants!)

  • ...you go on vacation and lose 2 pounds.
  • ...you gain a few pounds and don't freak out because you know you can knock it back off in a couple of days.
  • ...as so many have said before, someone you've know for years doesn't recognize you. Happened again last night. I saw someone at the theater and I said, "Don't I know you?", and she answered, "I don't think so." Then I told her my name and she said, "OMG, I'm so sorry, I didn't recognize you!"

I'll take that one with a smile every time!!! B)

That happened to me a few months ago. I was at Talbot's and inadvertently wound up on the plus size floor. The saleswoman asked me if I was looking for a gift for someonw and I said, no I was looking for myself to which she then said I was on the plus floor and petites was up two flights. It was wonderful and I know how great a moment like that feels.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
