Question for those that met their goals...

How long did it take you to reach your goal weight? I'm at 4 months and only about 45% to my goal weight. I feel like a lot of the people's posts that I've read had them reaching near goal at 6 months. I'm thinking that's not happening for me in 2 months time.

You have to remember that everyone is different and it may not happen in two months time, their are so many variables, what works for one doesn't the other....keep on doing what your doing,....its not a race...just get healthy ((HUGs))

I was sleeved May 8, 2013 and my wife July 8, 2013. I am down 119 lbs. and hit my original goal around 8-9 months out.

My wife is down 80 lbs. and hit her original goal about 11 months out, however she has now decided she wants to lose more...women!

Please don't compare your journey with others though, everyone is different and folks lose at different rates, for various reasons.

Good luck!

I think that's what makes it hard for me...my husband and I were sleeved on the same day and he's lost almost 90 pounds and I'm plugging away at 56 pounds! So I am fortunate to have great support throughout this, but it naturally leads us to compare our progress and I am a competitive person...LOL...so this is killing me!

I'm 11 months out and have lost 80 pounds from my highest weight. yes other have lost twice as much but thru this community and the encouragement I've received when I compared myself to other has convinced me to appreciate MY Journey and MY Achievementds. Please do the same its a marathon not a sprint #grateful
