I was sleeved at 10 am today. I've been on morphine and anti nausea meds throughout the day. I'm mostly just sore at this point. I've been walking around in the hospital and have no problems with it. The worst part was obviously in recovery. My gas pain has been minimal I'm guessing due to my walking.

Congrats to my other July 14th sleevers! Make sure to get some walking in there!

I had mine done on Monday as well. I did pretty well in the hospital but now that I'm home I am much more sore. Perhaps I'm not walking as much without the long hallways and more comfortable seating or maybe the pain Meds at home aren't as good. How are you doing on liquids. I'm struggling quite a bit. Lots of spasms but I just keep sipping. I'm not hungry at all but I haven't felt full necessarily either. Do you?

I was sleeved Monday. I did well with the walking at the hospital. I'm home now, today has been real sore. The main incision burns and hurts more than the others. I feel generally tired. I have slowly sipped Water all day. Still don't think I've gotten enough in, never felt full and not specifically hungry. I also have a headache. Hope tomorrow is better.

I got sleeved on Monday, too. A little bit sore on one side - it feels like a pulled muscled. I have menstrual cramps worse than this on a monthly basis, so this is no biggie. I have walked around the block several times. Gas pain is minimal, Fluid intake is very good. Probably not 64 oz, but their goal for me is 20-30 oz, and I know I've had more than that.

I haven't been hungry, but did have some minor head-hunger here and there. It was very manageable. The only bad things are some occasional nausea and sensitivity to certain smells. I can't stand our hand soap anymore! lol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
