Labor day Challenge

Recommended Posts

Ok everyone. Here's the next challenge. Labor Day!

Bear with me as I adjust to taking over the challenges from Bea.

http://1drv.ms/1xo5e8r

Not sure if this link will work but lets try. I am also not terribly great with Xcel..but I know the basics.

First weigh in will be Monday July 7th. That will give us all a total of 9 weigh ins from start to finish, which will be Monday Sept 1st. It will be a long challenge, and will carry us threw the rest of summer and into start of fall.

I will post another with the pointers, rules etc for the other challenges. Same apply to this as all of the others.

Just make sure to adjust your goals to accommodate for the 2 months we will be in this one.

Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated. I will like the posts as I enter them in, so that will not change.

Im in, again! CW 159.2, goal weight 152.

I made goal the last two challenges but didn't on the two previous ones, so we'll see what happens. I'm coming up on 9 months out and it's getting more unpredictable as I get closer to my original goal. At this point I kinda feel like I'm on maintenance but I keep losing. Hopefully my weight will just level off at some point on it's own. I still have to be pretty diligent about what I eat, make good choices. If I slip I go up a lb or 1.5 lbs but I get right back on track quickly and that seems to jump start a little extra loss. I'm still 19 lbs from my original goal but I look and feel fantastic where I am so if I lose more, great, if I don't, that's great too. In 8 1/2 months I've lost 91 lbs! Thanks for taking up these challenges, they really help me keep my head in the game :)

I'm in, I love these challenges, this one is mine, I haven't done well on the others, so here's to a new day !

It's not a big goal but I'm closing in on the last few pound so it's tougher !!

Thank you for taking this over! I do love these challenges :)

I won't be home to weigh until Tuesday, so will use my starting weight from Friday ( last day at home) of 182.4.

Sw: 182.4

Gw: 169.9

Odd goal, but I would like to hit the 160s. I think I want to settle around 170 with my top maintenance of 174. Getting there by the end of summer would be great! I just need to stay away from the sugar.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
