three pairs of pants....

Recommended Posts

I have three pairs of pants that are almost identical, in size 22, 18, and 16. I just realized this. I haven't been able to wear the 16 in three years. Now they fit but with muffin top.

Just say no to the muffin top hahaha! Try them on again in 2 weeks and they'll fit great. Congrats! Can't wait until I'm in sizes that start with a "1"

If I wear a baggy shirt with them I'll be fine. Lol.

I don't know how I ended up with three army green pairs of capris with cargo pockets. Guess I like them.

I just threw away a entire 33 gal trash can of old jeans. Dropping about 1 size per week. Looking forward to purchasing new skinny for me clothes.

Congrats! I bet that is a wonderful feeling. I have lots of clothing that I cannot wait to get back into. I know this sounds silly but I still have the outfit that I wore on mine and my husbands first date 15 years ago. That is my motivation. I am getting back into that outfit. I am currently a size 5X. The outfit is a size 10. Maybe next summer?

Why would you throw away clothes?

Congrats, Greensleeve! I will be so happy when I can fit into a 16. That might even make me take a photo, which I avoid like crazy. I did discover a few size 18s in my closet recently (clutter city) but I'm sure the 16's are long gone. My last straw before my decision to get the $ for the surgery is that if I gain anymore weight I wouldn't be able to get clothes from a normal store. I guess I'd have to buy them online. No more Macy's. I feel stupid that I bought 3 shirts size L recently in anticipation of being able to wear them (so cute & on sale-but still putting the cart before the horse). There is a plus size resale store that I will sell my good stuff to & whatever I can't sell goes to the women's shelter. Here's to smaller sizes!

I was a 5x too and just purchased a 2x that fit perfectly! Not tight not hard to button...nothing!!! It will be very rewarding for you to be back in the size 10 -especially with the sentimental reasons. Best of luck on your journey.

All my old clothes are boxed up for the local shelter/resale shop. I'm at three boxes now, and soon to be more. I already went shopping in my attic and pulled down a bunch of clothes I haven't fit into in years. All but two or three of the tops fit (and fit well), so I'm looking forward to putting those into the boxes and sending them away.

I did take a few pics, I'm a little wary of posting pics that ID me due to a couple of stalking psychos but here's my butt. Lol.

Ok Girl! The bootys' lookin good (tiny)! You can rock the cargo pants without fear of the pockets making you look just that much bigger. I feel so inspired by everyone else's story. You all really give me hope. The surgery gives the double happiness of good health & cuteness. Congratulations, Greensleeve. I'm really happy for you.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
