My surgery date is coming closer and closer, this whole process has just sped by so quick. I still have tons of questions and concerns! Did anyone get their gallbladder removed during the surgery to reduce problems later down the road or has anyone experienced problems after surgery because of their gallbladder? A co worked of mine was telling me briefly about this. Another concern is, I haven't even had my 21st birthday yet.. Not for three more years, but am I at least going to be able to have a drink some point in my life or is it forever gone? During my two week liquid diet my dr said I would be able to have watermelon because it is mostly water does that mean I can eat bell peppers also? Also three days after my surgery is the 4th of July and I was hoping I would be able to spend it with my family at a get together out of town. Am I going to be up for that and if I am would it hurt me in anyway?
