As the others have said, you really should contact your surgeon. Good luck to you. I hope you get relief soon!

Fed up
I can offer a different perspective. I haven't been following the rules and I have gained about 13 lbs. I'm 19 months out and did very well for the first year. I don't think they're being mean spirited, just trying to help you. I wish I would have had someone in my face. I wish you all the best on your journey.

Surgery 6/11 strange thing to say...
Good luck tomorrow! Like the others' I wore two hospital gowns for my strolls down the hall. I'd recommend extra panties, because you can't trust a fart in those early days. Congratulations for taking this first step toward a healthy, new you!

Newb here. Starting the process. Appt is June 15th
It's definitely not the easy way out! I'm 1-1/2 years post op and have had zero regret. The most important thing, in my opinion, is to follow your doctor's orders. If you do that, you should have great success. Good luck to you!

A tool just as powerful as wls
I'm so intrigued by this thread. Does evoo have a bad effect on cholesterol? I'd really like to try this, but already have high cholesterol. I'm 1-1/2 years post op and have put back on 9 lbs.

The dreaded spare tire!
Thank you so much for your response. If I were your age, there's no doubt in my mind I'd go for the body lift. Lord knows I have a lot that needs lifting. You're right in that I need to schedule a consult, but haven't found the courage to do it. I'm glad you had a good result with your surgery!

The dreaded spare tire!
It's so unsightly! I can't hide it at all. I wondered if lipo is an option or is this tummy tuck territory?

The dreaded spare tire!
I'm 1-1/2 years out from vsg surgery and I lost 57 lbs and went under my goal. I've gained 9 lbs, but am quite pleased with my current weight. I'm 66 years old and lower weight was not my friend. I find I'm stuck with the dreaded spare tire that just won't go away and am considering plastics. Has anyone had this type of problem fixed, and if so, what did you have done? Thanks for reading!

Plastic Surgery Terms for Weight Loss Patients
If I must depend on insurance, the case closed! I plan to self pay as I did with the sleeve. I am ready now to get this done!

65 and over
Ladybug, I'm 65 and loving my sleeved life! I'm 11 months out and still losing. I've passed the surgeon's goal as well as my goal. Best decision ever!

That's fantastic! Wow - 50 lbs - you are really doing great!

too many calories?
10 months out and average between 800-900/day. On rare occasions I'll hit 1000.
