The weeks before surgery are usually a challenge for everyone I talk with. Don't obsess about it, because after surgery it gets easier. The purpose of the pre-op diet is to (1) help shrink your live

Believe me....as I sit in my hospital room this is NOT the easy way out. It's not even close to being easy. I have absolutely no regrets, but this is a whole new world. I still can't get over

Hi everyone my name is Damarie out of Bethlehem PA. I was referred to this site by a friend who was sleeved 14 months ago. I'm so glad she did. Alot of support and helpful information is what I'm finding. I completed an online seminar and will visit the surgeon's office on June 15th. I actually did all this last year and backed out due to not having much support, people telling me "its the easy way out". I was scared as s@!t too. So i decided again to try losing on my own. I did, lost 25 pounds in about 5 weeks but quickly gained back 10 and have been struggling to lose it plus more. I have several family members and a few coworkers who have had weight loss surgery and they all say the same thing, they love it and would do it again. My weight has me feeling depressed more than it ever has. The hardest thing is not being able to shop for clothes where most people can. I have to ask, "Do you carry plus sizes?" And when i do find a place the selection is a small corner of the store, wtf!!
