  1. I'm 180 and 5'1" and I will be sleeved within the next two weeks. I cleared my endoscopy and stress test and can't wait to start my new life. At 64 years old, I don't want to waste another day!
  2. Great question! I'm 64 and pre-op and have concerns about my skin too.
  3. Thanks for all the great information. I
  4. I'm in the Dallas area and the surgeon is James Davidson. I am so disappointed!
  5. I had an appt with a very highly regarded bariatric surgeon on August 12. I informed him that I definitely want to have the surgery and met with the lady who does the scheduling. She was supposed to let me know about pre op endoscopy and stress test. I haven't heard a peep from her. I've left two messages for her, but still nothing. Does this sound normal? I really want this surgeon, but might have to look elsewhere. What was your experience like? Thanks!
  6. Hi, y'all. I'm I Royse City and just beginning my journey.
  7. I cancelled almost two years ago after convincing myself I had to try again to lose the weight on my own. Well, today I saw the surgeon again and started the process once more. If I am cleared medically, I won't back out. I can't live my life in fear of being a 1%'er. I know my odds are worse if I do nothing. You have to make the decision you're most comfortable with. Good luck.
  8. Hi, Neighbors! I live in Royse City (just east of Rockwall). I have a consultation with Dr. James Davidson on Tuesday. Went to see him two years ago and backed out. One more try at diet and exercise... well, you know how that ended. Anyway, if I get cleared by all my docs, I won't back out this time. I have 60 lbs to lose, but it's more every year. At 64 years old, I have to fix this.
