My name is Jennifer and I had the gastric sleeve on January 13, 2012. I have since lost 100lbs. I was 22 years old and was overweight my whole life. My mother was obese and had the gastric bypass. I guess it runs in the family. I decided to get the gastric sleeve because I saw all the deficiencies my mother had with vitamins. I stand by with what I choose for myself. I recently had a baby and feel that my pouch has stretched alittle. I feel that I can eat more and I don't like it. I am now trying to go back to the post-op diet to help my stomach retract in size. I am also seeing my surgeon because of gallbladder issues. I have to get it removed.
